Alright so Kate and my Mom have talked me into blogging again!
So the Winberg bunch has not been up to much...Yes, I know it's been a year and we haven't been up to much...
So let me update ya'll on our doings and not doings...

Parker 10
Is in 4th grade and doing very well. He just finished passing off his times tables, and was knighted a times table dragon slayer as his school likes to call it. He was pretty pleased. He has always done very well in school and enjoys his friends, lunch and recesses the best.
He has also been into his target practice as of late. He got a BB gun for Christmas last year and has a whole forest of a back yard to shoot up. He showed me the other day and he is quite the shot! He has been busy in scouts as well, working on his webelo's badge he getting close.
Brylea 6 (7 in May)

Has enjoyed being in 1st grade. She is learning to read and loves the social interaction she gets from school. She has been very interested in our garden this year. She helped me most of Sat working to get the soil ready. She even planted some lettuce and spinach. She's like her mommy and loves to be outdoors and working with her hands. We went swimming a couple of weeks ago and she was a little fish. She is getting better and better. I think a full summer of swimming lessons and she will be out on her own.
Logan 4 (5 in May)
Logan is gearing up for Kindergarten, yes it's not until Aug but he talks about it not stop. He loves to play computer and now that the weather is nice jump on the tramp. He is super funny and loves to have long conversations with anyone that will talk back. The other day he tried a new recipe I had made. I asked if he liked it...his response was "Well it's interesting" lol! He was a big help in our garden and in the forest (as he calls it). Earlier this year we had a bad windstorm. One of our huge black willow trees blew over. So on Sat my dad and 2 younger brothers got out the chainsaws and cut it up. It was a huge all day project and required all the help from Logan and the rest of the kids to move the logs. It was pretty cute watching Logan move logs that were almost as big as he was.
Macy 3

Macy is as cute as a button! Her vocabulary is off the chart along with Logan's. She is so funny and makes me laugh at her excitement for life and her love of the outdoors. She has been sick in the last few weeks and has been to the doctors a few times. We are still trying to work out all the problems, but I feel like she is getting better and we are coming to some good solutions to help her.
Her job in the garden is to help water. It's so cute to see her with a little watering can standing in one place dumping water on the one poor hopeless seed. lol
I love how each one of my children are so different. I love to see how they solve there problems differently and to watch their minds at work. I know that the Lord has sent me these little angels to raise and protect, but I can't help thinking that the Lord knew that I would not be successful in this life without them.
I love how mindful the Lord is of me in helping me raise my children. I know that he is laughing, crying, worrying and yes has sleepless nights with me. I know that he loves me and sends help to me daily...even when I don't notice it.
As for me I am anxious to start school in May it will be a long haul. I have chosen nursing as the field to go into. I must confess that I really just want to work in my garden all summer long! I find my peace and renewal out in the garden. I love to be out working with my hands and taking in all the beauty of the earth. I know that the Lord is with me all the time...but I feel his love for me and the world even more when I am out there. I am still running and love that almost as much as gardening.
So there ya have it... I promised to keep my blog up from here on out. I am a woman of my word. So you can expect a monthly blog update from us.
Love to all,
Mer
